How a simple idea grew into a universe-spanning epic

When I first started sketching notes for what eventually became Vortex, I didn’t realize I was stepping into a story much larger than a single novel. I thought I was writing about a scientist wrestling with mortality, a brilliant engineer building the impossible, and an invention that reshapes human destiny.

But the moment the SkyLine—humanity’s first graphene space railway—arrived on the page, the world opened up. Suddenly, Earth wasn’t a boundary but a jumping-off point. Space became navigable, cities started blooming on moons and asteroids, and humanity’s future stretched across the Solar System like rails.

That’s when I knew this wasn’t just a book.
This was a saga.

🚄 What Is the Railway Into Space Saga?

At its core, the saga explores one question:

What happens when humanity gains the power to outrun death?

The Railway Into Space Saga is my attempt to explore those questions in a world that feels both astonishing and plausible. Modern physics inspired the Vortex. Real graphene research inspired the SkyLine. And the social consequences of technology—well, we see those every day.

This is sci-fi with one foot in tomorrow.
